I found everything I needed for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge out in the garden, or at least in my garden photo files.
The goldfinches have been regular visitors to the garden throughout the year. Earlier they helped themselves to nesting material and now they’re making the most of the seeds that remain tucked away inside the fading flowers.
Yellow lilies that managed to survive repeated rabbit attacks during the spring.
A yellow swallowtail butterfly fluttering around on the buddleia.
Yellow cushion spurge makes a nice show in the spring.

So bright and cheery. Love the pictures!
Thank you!
Love the gold finch, they also spend the summer with us 🙂
It’s always such a pleasure to see them. They’re like bright jewels in the garden.
Such bright and beautiful yellows. Thanks ever so much for playing.
Thanks, Cee!
Delightfully sunny on a gray day!
Gray is right! Did they actually mention snow for the Rockford area!!!! Say it isn’t so.
I hadn’t heard that! Gasp!
Lovely photos as usual, thanks for lifting my spirits 🙂
Thanks, Gill! Glad you liked the pictures.
A gorgeous collection.
Thanks, Louis!

I hope you are having a wonderful week.
Thanks so much, Cee!
The pleasure was all mine. 🙂
Lovely photo of the goldfinch – you feel you could just stroke him.
Thank you, Annette! Those little claws look like they might be a bit painful though. As usual, I took this shot from behind the safety of a window. Anyone who knows me well knows that I’m terrified of birds.
Lovely photos! 🙂
Thank you, Linda! And thanks for stopping by.
