Nancy Merrill has suggested Moving Waters as the theme for her Photo A Week Challenge this week and, looking through the archives, I realized I had quite a few images that might fit the bill.
Pictured above, Copper Falls State Park near Mellen in northern Wisconsin.
A fish ladder on the Grand River in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Tahquamenon Falls State Park near Paradise, Michigan.
The fountains at Brookfield Zoo, Illinois. A refreshing sight on a hot day.

Great shots, i love the fish ladder.
Thanks, Joan! It took us a while before we realized what it was.
Love the moving waters, Sue! 🙂
Thank you, Indira!
Love these! I live in Grand Rapids and the area around the fish ladder (on both sides of the river) is one of my favorites for walking and photographing. Love the moving water theme too.
Thank you! I’d love to go back to Grand Rapids and do some more exploring. I really enjoyed that walk along the river.
A really good shot of the Tahquamenon Falls but as always you have found a good set of pictures to meet the challenge.
Thanks, Tom! Luckily I had plenty of shots from which to choose as this is one of my favorite subjects, along with flowers.
Awesome shots, i cherish the fish stepping stool…
Thank you!
Great shots! Nice work. Thanks for joining the challenge!
Thank you, Nancy!
