Reflecting on the subject for Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge this week I found a few images from the Chicago Botanic Garden that I thought would fit the bill.

    • Thank you, Francis! You bring up a good point. Sometimes I feel like color can distract the eye from the main subject of the picture, in this case the reflections. If I were using these images for any other purpose than this particular challenge, I would probably opt to use the color version.

    • Thanks, Chris! Yes, I think the bridge is my favorite too. To be honest, I didn’t think much of the original picture which was in a rather drab color and didn’t seem very interesting, but after I cropped and converted it to b/w it took on a whole new and more pleasing appearance.
