One of the great things about the Chicago Botanic Garden is that there is no shortage of places to sit. Whether you like basking in the sun on sitting in the shade, there is a perfect spot for you. Here are a few images in response to the Pull Up A Seat Photo Challenge over at Photo Challenge of places we sit…or might sit…or art about sitting.
next time i’m in chicago, i’ll be sure to visit. this looks wonderful
I can highly recommend it, Beth!
Beautiful photos. The seats look very inviting. Those gourds are beautiful too. Thanks for playing along.
Thank you! It’s starting to get a little too chilly to sit outside anywhere now, but I’ll keep looking.
The last few days our weather has turned to the wet and chilly.
Great photos of an amazing place. I would find it very hard to choose which seat to sit on first! It would be a bit like musical chairs …dancing around the beautiful garden and landing on the nearest seat to the best viewpoint.
Thanks, Marianne! I love your thoughts on the seats at the Garden! It’s starting to get a bit too cold to sit for long outside now, but it’s nice to know there’s always somewhere available if the need arises.
Always a quiet moment.
Yes, although sometimes you have to wait quite a while to get even the smallest place to yourself on a really nice day.
You don’t leave anything interesting 🙂
I spent a long time at the Garden that day, so I was glad of somewhere to sit occasionally.
I love when gardens have good seating.
Me too! And every view at the Garden is a gem.
The worn wood bench with the gourds and brick background is very cool.
Thanks, Chris! That was an instance where focusing on just one aspect of the overall picture seemed to work better.
