It’s been a while since I’ve been able to Pull Up A Seat and sit down in any comfort outside, but the weather was just right the other day at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. There is no shortage of conveniently placed seating at the Arboretum. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to rest on the many trails, in the children’s play area, overlooking Lake Marmo or any one of the many other picturesque spots, you will be sure to find a sturdy bench, rocking chair or swinging seat.

It has been one of my favorite places to visit for many years, spring and autumn being the most beautiful times.
The swinging seat looked like one that I would like to try in particular.
It looked so good, I was afraid to try it in case I went to sleep.
Would love to sit in any one of them seats…especially the swing!

I imagine things are pretty soggy there right now. We’ve had so much rain this spring. Good for the garden but it’s making walking in the woods rather a watery experience especially if you’re anywhere near a river.
The weather has been similar here
