Spring is going out in a blaze of color in the garden this year. Thanks to all the rain, the perennials have really flourished, although in some respects it took its toll, knocking down many of the irises and battering the peony blossoms to such an extent that I hardly had time to capture them before they were spent. We could use a little sunshine now.

Beautiful irises.
I find that irises are very hit or miss things. Some do very well and others almost completely disappear. Still, the ones that did come out looked lovely.
I find that almost all of my photographic efforts are hit or miss!

Those irises are just superb. They remind me of ballet dancers… weird I know.. but so elegant and graceful. Amazing photos that capture their beauty.
