Chicago Botanic Garden – Spring In Retrospect

Spring in retrospect at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The colors were stunning and this rare sunny day provided everything that you could hope for in the way of scenic beauty. I also got to the Garden before the rain shattered the tree blossoms which is something I usually manage to mistime.

  1. Beautiful as usual Sue. Your tulips are still blooming! Our fields and beds came and went over a month ago. Summer hydrangea are blooming though in the yards where I walk. So many homes have this amazing sky blue color to their blooms. I had too bushes of that same color that I used in my oldest daughters wedding. Such memories every time I pass those houses.

    • Thanks, Deb! Although these pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago, I was surprised to see tulips and daffodils still in bloom. Isn’t it wonderful how flowers and their perfume can bring back such happy memories.
