Cee’s topic for this week’s Fun Foto Challenge is 3 items or the number three. I don’t see too many creatures hanging out in threes. I guess two’s company, three’s a crowd. But here are a few that didn’t seem to mind sharing space.
Pictured above; snakes and elk in Elk Grove Village, African wild dogs at Brookfield Zoo, ducks at the Chicago Botanic Garden and Frederik Meijer Sculpture Garden in Grand Rapids, turtles in Hermann Park in Houston and pelicans on the river in Davenport, Iowa.
Such a lovely topic and so well captured in all your great photos – such a great variety of subjects too.
Thanks, Marianne! Most of the animals and birds that I photograph are either on their own or in pairs so I had a hard time finding groups of three in the photo files.
Wonderful photos of threes, Sue. For some unknown reason, even though I don’t like snakes, the threesome was so cute. 🙂
Thanks, Olga! The snakes were quite small and non-poisonous otherwise I wouldn’t have been so close. They were as curious about me as I was about them.
I am impressed not only by the quality of your photographs but by the fact that you can find them. I might have pictures which featured threes but I could never dig them out. Your filing system must be superb.
Thanks, Tom! I think was all those years of playing Pelmanism with my mother and grandmother that helped me to remember where things were.
Mind blowing….how did you manage the threes!!!?
Thanks, Indira! It took a bit of searching but, after all these years of taking pictures, I figured there had to be something in the photo files.
Nice collection, Sue! I used to live in GR. The sculpture park is incredible, isn’t it?
Thanks, Patti. I was surprised that there was so much more to the sculpture park than just the sculptures. The nature trail was amazing!
It is a great spot. I’m sure you enjoyed the Japanese gardens too.
