Love your checks, especially!!
Thanks, Sandy! At first, when I decided to use pictures from the Garden for this challenge, I thought I’d bitten off more than I could chew, especially where the checks were concerned but, after trawling through all the old Garden photo files, I was surprised to find that, yes, there definitely were checks, even if I had to go all the way back to 2010 to find them.
It was well worth your time and effort!
Nothing beats Nature! Beautiful!
Thanks, Ann-Christine! My thoughts exactly.
♥
Gorgeous! I especially like the last butterfly.
Thank you! I missed seeing the butterflies at the Garden last year so I’m hoping the exhibit will be open this summer.
Stunning photos and ticking all the boxes for Stripes and Checks…very clever indeed . Beautiful butterflies and delightful garden designs showing those pretty garden layouts…great ideas!
Thanks, Marianne! It took me a while to find the checks. I knew I’d seen something like it at the Garden, but I had to go through several year’s worth of photo files to discover them.
You have surpassed yourself in meeting this challenge.
Thanks, Tom. The checks were rather more difficult to find. They don’t use that kind of lay-out at the Garden much these days so I had to go all the way back to the 2010 and 2014 files.
Love your nature takes on the challenge. Very pretty. 😊
Thanks, Irene! I like to go to nature for these themes if I can, although the checks provided quite a challenge.
Gorgeous pictures – love those butterfly shots ❤
Thank you so much!
Very vibrant photos!
Thanks, Chris!
Great series, Sue…so lovely pictures!
Thank you, Indira!
My husband’s sister lived in Chicago and we donated a bench when she passed away as she was a true lover of the garden. This week I especially liked the areas where the flowers are planted within squares/checkerboard style. Wonderful!
Thanks, Tina. What a beautiful way to remember your sister-in-law.
BEAUTIFUL photos!
Many thanks, John!
Very clever, Sue. I wouldn’t have thought of garden shots, but they work perfectly. Your butterfly images are wonderful.
Thank you so much, Patti.
Wonderful butterflies 🙂
Thank you! They make wonderful subjects for photography, if only they would keep still long enough.
Beautiful photos! You “checked” all the boxes for this prompt. LOL! 🙂
Thank you, Lisa!
🙂
That is a beautiful selections, I love your butterfly photos especially. 🙂
Thank you, Amy!
Lovely – particularly the butterflies. 😊
Thank you, Louise! Can’t wait to get back out to the Garden this spring.
