I’m not sure if I’ve participated in this challenge before but I thought Jez’s WWE photo challenge would be a good opportunity for me to share some pictures that I took up at Gooseberry Falls, about an hour’s drive north of Duluth in Minnesota, last month. The Falls are easy to access and consist of three levels, upper, middle and lower falls.
Beautiful nature images, Sue….I can hear that gurgling falls and stream!!
Thank you, Indira! Although you can’t tell from the pictures, there were a lot of people at the falls. It’s quite a popular spot.
Your lovely photos certainly fulfill the criteria, Sue. Very well done.
Thank you so much, Isabella!
Wonderful photos of the waterfalls- lots of splashing and movement and far more impressive than the Wiki photos. Looks like a great place to visit.
Thank you, Marianne! I was relieved to find that we didn’t have to walk too far to access the falls. Carrying a camera bag full of lenses etc can sometimes be a bit tiring but these were easy to get to and, with a bit of care, I was able to get right up close to the action.
I love waterfalls so these images were a treat.
Thanks, Tom! These were on our list of things to see on this trip, and they didn’t disappoint.
I love the sound of a waterfall! Really pretty there!
I agree, Aletta. I took a little video, just to hear the water flowing over the falls.
Fantastic!
Fantastic set of falls & scenery, Sue 👏 They must be really impressive in the wet season 😃 Thank you so much for joining in 😁
Many thanks, Jez.
Lovely shots. If we had this much water in our part of Arizona it would be a flood. 😉

Thanks, Janet! It was nice to see a decent amount of water coming over the falls.
I bet.
