You would be hard pressed to capture an image without Water, in some shape or form, at the Chicago Botanic Garden. There are nine islands on this 385-acre living plant museum, so water is a constant feature of the landscape.

Wow..so much green! Loved it! Great captures, Sue!
Thank you, Jyothi.
What gorgeous trees, Sue!
The Garden does have a remarkable selection of trees that blend well in all areas.
Love all the reflections of those magnificent trees in the water- two amazing images for the price of one! Chicago is very fortunate to have such a beautiful Botanic Garden and a great photographer to record all its beauties.
Many thanks, Marianne! We are lucky to have the Garden so close at hand. And nice weather makes all the difference.
Great captures . Amazing Botanical Garden
Thank you, Anita!
Very restful images. Thank you.
It does look very peaceful there. You’re welcome.
Pretty photos
Thank you, Alice!
An interesting place to visit
Yes, it’s the one membership that I have that truly pays for itself. A wonderful place!
Beautiful scenes from the botanical garden, Sue!Lovely place!!
Thank you, Indira! This was probably my final visit of the year but I’m looking forward to the orchid show in a couple of months.
Wow, what an amazing place you’ve shared with us all; thank you 🙏 The reflections are fantastic 😃
Thank you, Jez! The Garden is a great place for water shots especially on a nice day.
Beatiful garden!
Without a doubt, my favorite place for photography.
My sister-in-law lived in Chicago and when she passed we and the rest of the family dedicated a bench at the garden. It’s such a glorious place and the entire family was there for the dedication and to spend the day surrounded by its peace and beauty. Your post was a fond reminder for me. I loved the “bonsai-ish” tree in your third image especially Sue.
I’m glad these images brought back some fond memories, Tina. I can’t think of a nicer way to honor someone’s memory than to dedicate a bench in the Garden.
