Thanks to Jez for hosting the WWE Photo Challenge, a great opportunity for me to share a few pictures from my recent trip to Oshkosh in Wisconsin. I had no idea that Lake Winnebago was so large!

Amazing pictures. I just love the lighthouse peeking around the tree! πΉπββοΈ
Thank you, Ashley! We had an interesting couple of days in Oshkosh. I can’t think why we haven’t visited there before now. It’s only about a 3 hour drive from us.
Only, you say! π I have a friend I worked with in England, who comes from Michigan, and he always made fun of my complaints about having to drive for a couple of hours to visit some things! πββοΈ
Haha! Yes, it’s all relative. I always think back to when I lived in England and how quickly we seemed to get from place to place.
What a lush and scenic place to spend time.
The weather was perfect for our trip and we were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see in Oshkosh.
I love your evening stroll. It looks delightful.
South Park was just down the road from our hotel. We’d visited a lot of places that day so it was nice to just relax and go at a slower pace.
Great pictures, Sue! How did you like the Paine Art Center?
Thanks, Chris! I thought the woodwork inside the Paine Mansion was absolutely stunning! Such a beautiful place and the gardens are magnificent.
I totally agree! It’s been a while since I’ve been there.
That is a lot of water, Sue. We’ve had a lot of water here recently (at least a lot by Arizona standards) and are feeling quite blessed. π

I was happy to hear that you had finally got some much-needed rain, Janet. It’s a rainy day here today too.
What an amazing place, Sue π The fact the lake has a lighthouse speaks to the size of it π² Looks like it would be easy to disappear from the crowds for a while & relax π Thanks for joining in π
Thanks for the challenge, Jez!

Very refreshing pictures!!
Many thanks for visiting, Indira!
You do have water water everywhere, Sue. Your pictures are lovely and you even included some public art – wahoo! π
Thank you, Marsha!
Such a lovely place.
Oshkosh certainly had a lot to offer, Rupali. Thanks so much for visiting.
